Return and Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 20th 2025

1. General Policy

At Robots Montreal, customer satisfaction is important to us. However, due to the specialized nature of our products and services, certain restrictions apply to returns, cancellations, and refunds. This policy explains how we handle returns and refunds for rentals, maintenance services, product purchases, and leasing agreements.

2. Robot Rentals (1–4 Week Rental Plans)

  • Cancellation Before Delivery: Customers may cancel a rental reservation up to 2 business days before the scheduled start date for a full refund. 
  • Cancellation After Delivery: Once the robot has been delivered and setup initiated, the rental fee becomes non-refundable. 
  • Early Return: Early returns do not qualify for partial refunds. Rentals are billed for the full rental period regardless of early return. 
  • Damage or Loss During Rental: Customers are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. Repair or replacement costs will be invoiced separately. 

3. Maintenance Services

  • One-Time Maintenance Service: Once the service is completed, no refunds are provided. 
  • 6-Month Maintenance Policy: Customers may cancel with a notice period of 30 days written notice. Refunds are not provided for months already billed. Future months can be canceled with proper notice. 

4. Robot Purchases (T-9 Robot)

  • All Sales Are Final: Purchases of robots are non-refundable unless the product arrives defective. 
  • Defective Product: If a purchased robot arrives defective, customers must notify Robots Montreal within 24h of delivery. Upon verification, we will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion. 

5. Robot Lease Agreements (3-Year Lease)

  • Service and Maintenance: During the lease, Robots Montreal could provide maintenance and repairs as part of a new service agreement (excluding misuse or accidental damage beyond normal use). 

6. Return Conditions (If Applicable)

  • Products must be returned in original condition with all accessories and documentation included. 
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed upon.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
